Gold & Green Gradient Nail Art.

Hello, gorgeous!

Today I will be showing you how to do this beautiful metallic & greens nail art, very suitable for the fall and winter seasons!

Let's get started!

Choose two metallic colors of your own taste and another color that could match both.

Paint all of your nails with gold metallic color.

Using a sponge, dap the green metallic color on top and darken the tip of your nails.

Draw diagonal lines using a green striper.

Draw the lines again crossing the previous lines.
Apply a top coat and this is the finished look!

Easy, isn't it?!

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Health & Lifestyle: Healthy Lunch Ideas.

Hello lovelies!
Today I am going to continue the health & livestyle series for you all by introducing some healthy lunch ideas!

Here are a few ideas!

Roasted Red Pepper Spread Sandwiches

If you like pimiento cheese, you’ll enjoy this recipe. Keep the sandwiches well chilled so that the cream cheese spread will remain firm. Sturdy, whole-grain bread works best.

Tabbouleh with Chicken

Nutty, nutritious bulgur, perhaps best known as the star of Lebanese tabbouleh, can be used like brown rice in salads and pilafs, or simply cooked or steamed and drizzled with oil and sprinkled with chopped herbs.

Southwestern Chicken Pasta Salad

Spice things up for lunch by using intense flavors in hum-drum dishes. There’s nothing boring about this pasta salad, packed with sharp Cheddar, sweet corn, and smoky chipotle. Fresh summer corn is sweet, tender, and juicy—enough so that it doesn’t even require cooking. If your corn is a bit past its prime, boil it for two minutes.

                                                             Tuna Pan Bagnat

Nicoise salad meets hearty sandwich in this delectable creation. Canned tuna is a great staple of lunch-time fixings, and in this case it’s worth the splurge to go with a premium-quality tuna that’s packed in oil. Paired with hard-boiled eggs, briny nicoise olives, and dressed in lemony vinaigrette, this sandwich is not your typical lunchroom fare.

Little Italy Chicken Pitas

A smart trick to this zesty sandwich is using oil from the sun-dried tomatoes to prepare the vinaigrette. Prepare the chicken filling ahead of time and pack separately. Fill pitas just before eating.

Fresh Tomato Soup

Nothing says comfort more than a warm bowl of tomato soup.  Ditch the can and prepare this homemade soup with fresh veggies. Buying in season is smart on so many levels: Produce tastes best in season, and it’s usually less expensive. Since we crave tomato soup beyond the peak of summer, this recipe calls for plum tomatoes, which tend to be flavorful all-year long.

Spelt Salad with White Beans and Artichokes

This vegetarian salad is a lunchbox dream: You can make it ahead, it’s packed with filling protein and fiber, and it’s loaded with flavorful ingredients. And as an added bonus, it tastes nice chilled or at room temperature. Include a cluster of red grapes and crusty Italian bread in your bag, and you’re ready to go.

That is it for today!
Have a nice day

Health & Lifestyle: Healthy Fast Breakfast Ideas.

Hello there!

Today I will be showing you healthy delicious fast breakfast ideas!
Studies show that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it is very important for everyone to eat it. Usually the have to be light so the stomach doesn't feek heavy, but they must contain energy and protein so you can have a better day emotionally and physically.

Here are a few ideas to have nutritious morning meals you can eat while driving, walking, or sprinting out the door!

Fruit and Cheese

A balanced, easy-to-assemble make-ahead morning meal: Grab an apple, wrap 1 to 2 ounces of Cheddar in plastic, and toss ¼ cup of fiber- and protein-rich walnuts into a resealable plastic bag.

Peanut Butter Waffle

Instead of dousing a whole-grain or bran toaster waffle in syrup, cut the sugar and boost the protein and fiber by spreading it with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. You can also sprinkle on 1 tablespoon of raisins, sesame seeds, or extra peanuts for even more fiber, which helps deliver the meal's nutrients slowly and steadily.

Plain Doughnut With Chocolate Milk

A plain cake-style doughnut is usually a better choice than a bakery muffin. At Dunkin' Donuts, for instance, an old-fashioned doughnut has 280 calories, while a corn muffin has 510 calories. Add fiber by eating ¼ cup of almonds or dried fruit. Instead of coffee, try 8 ounces of low-fat chocolate milk.

Morning Pizza

Try a sophisticated spin: Take a slice of crusty bread, spread it with 3 tablespoons of low-fat ricotta, and add tomatoes. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil (about 1 teaspoon) and a little salt and pepper.

Energy Bars

To substitute for a meal, an energy bar should have at least 3 to 5 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein. Odwalla, Kashi GoLean, and TruSoy are all good options. Because cereal bars rarely have more than 2 grams of protein.

Egg McMuffin

Yes, you read that right. If you must eat fast food in the morning, get an Egg McMuffin at McDonald's. At 300 calories, it's not an outrageous meal. Plus it has a good amount of lean protein from the egg and the Canadian bacon. To trim empty calories, remove the top half of the muffin. For additional fiber, add a fresh orange.

Cereal "Sundae"

A bowl of fiber-rich bran flakes (about 1½ cups) with 8 ounces of low-fat milk is nearly the perfect breakfast. Make it portable by replacing the milk with lemon or vanilla yogurt and mixing it in a to-go container. Increase the fiber and vitamins by adding ¼ cup of nuts or fresh or dried fruit, such as chopped pecans or blueberries.

Huevos Rancheros

One of the most portable proteins is a hard-cooked egg, but it has no fiber or carbohydrates. So slice it, then roll it in an 8-inch whole-wheat tortilla with a piece of Martadila, if you like, a ½-ounce slice of cheese. Add a tablespoon of salsa for a shot of flavor and a smidgen of vitamin C.

Have a good day!

Product I've Been Loving: St. Ives Apricot Scrub

Hello, gorgeous!

Today I will be talking to you about a prodcut that I've been using for two months now and I really love it!
I'm not big on scrubs becuse my skin is sensitive and it reacts badly with anything strong, but I decided to try St. Ives scrub because I've read many good things about it and it exfoliates lightly! So I tried it and it turned out to be amazing! It's so delicate on my skin and it clears it out and removes any oil on T-zone, it gives your skin a lovely soft feel to it. The thing is it doesn't exfoliate at all, and that's why I liked it, I don't want any exfoliation but it does brighten your skin slightly.

As you can see it is oil free so it is perfect for those who have oily skin. I believe it would work with those who have acne because it is light and it wouldn't damage the skin.

As you can see it has 3 different beads in it that help with cleansing your skin and clearing your pores! It also smells good and refreshing.

I honestly would give this product 9.5 out of 10 because it really suits my skin type which is; combination.

Have a good day

Health & Lifestyle: Five Healthy Delicious Smoothies.

Hello lovelies!

So recently, I started trying to be healthy. I wanted to try at least to become healthier and not entirely healthy, instead of eating lots of junk food and unhealthy snacks!
Healthy food is NOT disgusting and not delicious! It is the opposite.

To become healthy you need to figure out the vegtables, fruits, nuts, etc... that suit you and your cravings. Which is the only hard part of it all, after that you'll start maintaining a wonderful healthy style that will keep your whole entire body healthy, fit, & in a great shape.
And by healthy I don't mean "Skinny", being skinny doesn't mean being healthy, & being plus sized doesn't mean unhealthy.

So to encourage you all and myself to become healthier I thought I should start with smoothies! Since they're drinks and not a meal it will be easier to start with them.

Here are five healthy delicious smoothies!

Protein Power

Lean Green

All-Day Energizer

All-Veg

Pre-Game Boost

There are tons of smoothie recepies online! If you try those and you want to try more, you can search and find lots of great recipes.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Have a good day,
xoxo

Fall 2012 Make Up Trends.

Hello lovelies!
Today I will be sharing with you six fall make up trends for 2012.
You don't have to wear all of these trends but it is a quick look on what the celebrites and models will be wearing.
So it seems as usual that burgundy colored lips are back, also brown smoky eyes, and strong brows!

Let's get started!

1-Mulberry Mouths
This is a constant fall trend which I love! It is a wearable trend too, I am sure I will be rocking it this fall.

2- Futuristic Eyes
This a lovely not very wearable trend, obviously for occasions and such. But it is still a lovely trend!

3- Defined Brows
I think defined brows are the ultimate trend for 2012! I honestly prefer thick brows rather thin ones.

4- Mesmerizing Multi-Toned Eyes
This a beautiful trend, where you get to be creative with your eyes and play with colors. I love the colored mascara and it adds a very pretty touch.

5- Fresh & Natural Faces
Having a fresh face during this time of the year is a must, a flawless glowing skin with a touch of blush is always good.

6- Smoky Browns
A smoky eye look adds a beautiful thing to the eyes, it works for many eye colors, and it is very easy to do!

I hope you enjoyed this post
